Sub:- HAM-TECH 2008, EXPO & CONFERENCE –
It gives me a great
pleasure to inform you that HAM-TECH
2008, Expo & Conference being held at NIAR,
The National Institute
of Amateur Radio (NIAR), with its objectives to promote amateur radio, has reached
a milestone of completion of 25 years with a reputation of being a world-class
institution for its activities and achievements.
Amateur radio service is
a continuous process in the path to scientific development. Over 3 million
radio amateurs around the world, mostly the developed countries, involve in
innovating and bringing out latest technologies to the art of radio
communications, which has earned them recognition as “Amateur Radio – A
National Resource”.
HAM-TECH 2008 is being organised with an objective to provide
competitive and creative environment to bring out innovative ideas and overcome
challenges in this field as well as to foster growth of science and technology
through various programs in the field of amateur radio. Contributing to the art
of Radio Communication, it also has a unique advantage to showcase the best
available talent. Thus we hope to achieve also kindle sufficient interest to
promote the activity hereafter keeping the interest of next generation.
Several Amateur Radio communication
experts (HAMs) from
Your support and
contribution for the success of this Ham-Tech will be valuable. May, I
therefore request you to kindly have a paper contributed for this conference.
The topics covered at this conference are i) Latest Technology developments,
ii) Antennas & Propagation, iii) Dx-peditions& Contesting, iv) HF &
VHF Communications, v) Digital Amateur radio & Internet vi) Emergency
Communications vii) Promotion of Amateur Radio. The Ham-Tech 2008 will consider
interdisciplinary aspects of amateur radio in various sessions.
The full length papers
may be sent as hard copy, soft copy or email to reach NIAR on or before 1st
October 2008. I personally invite you to make it convenient to attend the
